Rupy's General Conditions

The present General Conditions are intended to regulate the terms and conditions under which the store Rupy, belonging to Isabel Veiga with NIF 234141379, headquartered in Rua de Cimo de Vila, in Alijó (hereinafter “Rupy”) will rule.

Rupy's service consists of making available and supplying a set of products, in order to allow the user, who is assigned the status of customer, to order and buy online, of the products presented therein.

Using Rupy implies acceptance and full agreement of all parameters present in the Terms and Conditions described, as well as the Privacy Policy in force at the time you access Rupy.

If you do not accept, partially or in full, any of the conditions stipulated should not make purchases at Rupy. If you access Rupy, you are committing yourself and taking responsibility to respect the conditions set out in this page and in the Privacy Policy.

Rupy reserves the right to update and change the Terms and Conditions without prior notice. It is advisable to periodically check the Terms and Conditions for any changes or updates.

Product and Price Information

Rupy informs customers about the characteristics, descriptions, images or videos of each product on each available page.

Rupy presents, concisely, the prices of each product, including VAT rates, shipping charges applied to each order and other complementary costs that may apply.

Information about products, prices, content, images, videos, promotional campaigns and services can be updated and changed by Rupy at any time.

Intellectual property

Rupy is a registered online store, the service being provided by Isabel Veiga.

The content, domain, information present and made available in the store are the property of Rupy or were granted to it, thus being protected by copyright and related rights. Any and all use,

reproduction, copying or dissemination of visual, audiovisual or written content, is subject to prior approval by Rupy.

The client undertakes to fully respect the conditions and rights referred to, as well as to refrain from acts that may go against the law and rights such as copyright, related rights, among other laws applicable to the use of images, videos, content , etc. without the express approval of Rupy. Rupy cannot be held responsible for the possible misuse of such products.

Payment methods

Rupy provides the following payment methods:

Bank transfer

After payment is completed, Rupy  will proceed with a standard check, so that it is possible to process and ship the order. The customer will receive an email with confirmation that the order is paid, as well as the corresponding invoice.

Purchase conditions at Rupy:

Product availability

All products available at Rupy can be purchased, except in cases of stock break or limitation, as well as on-demand products, whose availability may vary. Products may be unavailable without notice, but in these circumstances, they will be duly identified at Rupy.

In the event that the product is no longer available after the purchase has been completed, Rupy undertakes to contact the customer, by telephone or e-mail, as soon as possible in order to expedite the process with the customer.

Fees and taxes

At Rupy the prices shown are in € (Euro), with the applicable VAT and tax rates in accordance with the law in force, which are already included in the price shown.

Order cancellation

The customer will be able to cancel an order placed while it is being processed. You are requested to inform Rupy through the following e-mail contact: shop@rupy.pt .

If the cancellation request has been made after the order has been shipped, it will be forwarded for delivery and the customer may choose to refuse to accept it. Rupy is not responsible for possible delays in handling order cancellations. In this situation the cost of postage will not be refunded.

Rupy reserves the right not to process orders or refunds in the event of data inconsistency, fraud or customer misconduct, as well as for technical reasons beyond Rupy.

Free Resolution

The customer has the right to terminate the contract within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of conclusion of the contract.

If the customer wishes to terminate the contract, he can do so by e-mail shop@rupy.pt or by filling in the contact form available at Rupy.

When terminating the contract within the legal term, in addition to the product return, the customer must return any offers that accompany the main product. Rupy must refund the amount paid within a maximum of 14 days after receipt of the returned order accompanied by the purchase invoice, proof of payment and return form.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the customer in the initial payment, except in situations of express agreement and in which the customer does not incur any costs as a result of the refund.

Any refund procedure will be processed as provided for in the legislation in force in Law Decree No. 24/2014.

Claims

The customer may submit a complaint regarding any question, act, information or service provided related to Rupy through the e-mail contact shop@rupy.pt or through the electronic complaints book available through the link: https: / /www.livroreclamacoes.pt.

Disclaimer

When creating and using the account at Rupy, the customer is responsible for maintaining the account, confidentiality and for all activity arising from his account.

When creating the user account and placing orders, the customer expressly and unequivocally accepts the Terms and Conditions in its most updated version.

Rupy is not responsible for any information disclosed by third parties, technical failures or any other problems that prevent access and proper functioning of the online store.

Rupy is not responsible for possible damages, directly or indirectly related to the use, or inability to use, of the products available, as well as for any delay or unforeseen in the delivery of orders.

Online Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, any consumer residing in Portugal and in the European Union may exercise his right of complaint with an official, third party and impartial to the process.

If for any reason you were dissatisfied with the purchase made on our online store, you can use an Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity (RAL) for consumption: CNIACC - National Center for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Conflicts
